Entering his fourth year at Washburn, and third in the role of Olympic Sport Strength and Conditioning Coordinator. During his time at Washburn, he has worked with men's and women's basketball, volleyball, soccer, men's and women's tennis, men's golf, and assisted with football.Â
Kinnamon holds both the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach (CSCS) certification and the Certified Performance and Sports Scientist (CPSS) certification, along with a master's degree in applied exercise science from Concordia University-Chicago.
Before his current position, Kinnamon volunteered as an assistant basketball coach and S&C intern for a year at Washburn and has internship experience from the University of Connecticut and Ball State University.Â
As an Emporia State graduate, Kinnamon graduated summa cum laude while playing football for two seasons.Â
