Matteo Madrassi tied for second with a school-record clearance of 5.21 meters (17-01.00), also an NCAA provisional mark at the Rock Chalk Classic at KU on Saturday and was the highest non-Division I finisher. His height was the same as the winner from KU, but moved into a tie for second with another KU pole vaulter on misses.
