Devon Connors had a punt block and return for 26 yards which gave the Ichabods a 14-10 lead with 14:54 to play in the first half - a lead which Washburn did not let go of in its 24-20 win over Northeastern State. He also added five solo tackles adding a pass break up and his first interception of the season with 1:34 left in the game sealed the win for Washburn.
