Spenser Matthews led the Ichabod defense with 11 tackles gaining five solo stops while adding 4.0 tackles for loss for 22 yards and 3.0 sacks for 18 yards adding a pass breakup and a quarterback hurry. Late in the third quarter with Washburn leading 27-7 over the Lopers, Matthews had a tackle for loss for four yards on a second down play and then added a sack for a loss of seven yards on a third down play forcing a Loper punt.
