Jacob Klemz concluded a stellar freshman season with a 58^th place finish at the 2016 Division II Cross Country Nationals. The Topeka native clocked in a time of 31:40.9, crossing the finish line two minutes after meet winner Vincent Kiprop and approximately seven minutes before the last place finisher. Klemz was the second MIAA runner to cross the finish line and wraps up his debut season as the third best male long distance runner in the region and the sixth best freshman in the country.
