Chase Brill • Jr. / Edmond, Okla.
Brill won both his singles matches as the No. 37 Washburn men’s tennis team (13-6) went 1-1 last weekend to close out the regular season. Brill won a super tiebreaker match against No. 20 Midwestern State, 7-6 (3), 6-7 (2), 11-9. The following day, Brill won the clinching match in a come-from-behind three set triumph (4-6, 7-6 (3), 6-4) to help the Ichabods capture a huge 4-3 victory against regional opponent No. 45 Southeastern Oklahoma State.
