Blake Allen joined Washburn Golf in 2016 and ranks in the top-three throughout the program’s career and season records. He holds a career stroke average of 73.37 in 95 rounds played, which is third-all time. His career win-loss percentage of .799 is second in program history and he also holds the second and third-best win-loss season percentage (.881 in 2018-19; .873 in 2019-20). In 16 rounds played this season, he tied for the team’s best average at 71.88. He is a two-time PING All-Region team selection and earned a place on the All-MIAA team twice. As a freshman, he reached the NCAA Regional Championships as an individual and placed seventh overall carding an impressive 10-under par, 206 (72-64-70). He won the individual title at the Washburn Invitational in back-to-back seasons while helping the Ichabods to the team victory both times. In the 2018-19 season, he competed in all 11 events and placed in the top-15 in nine tournaments while landing in the top-five in four of those events. Allen is a three-time MIAA Academic Honor Roll member from Lenexa, Kan. and is majoring in entrepreneurship.
