Fifth-ranked Washburn will look to extend a 22-match winning streak with a pair of MIAA matches at Lee Arena this week. The Lady Blues (27-1, 8-0 MIAA) will host Fort Hays State Thursday at 7 p.m. and then host Missouri Western Saturday afternoon at 4:30.

Washburn has been No. 5 in the nation for the last three weeks and debuted at No. 1 in the South Central Region in the NCAA's poll released last week.
The Lady Blues have the nation's highest winning percentage at .964 and they are the only undefeated team in MIAA play. They have not lost since a 3-1 setback against Nebraska-Kearney on August 31. Washburn has swept its last six opponents and has won 21 straight match games. All of those streaks are school records.
Kate Hampson leads the team and the MIAA in assists per game with 13.28 and that average is seventh best in the nation. The Lady Blues lead the MIAA in attack percentage, kills per game and assists per game and they are seventh in the country in assists.
