TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Lady Blues tennis team took two of three doubles matches and five of six singles matches en route to a 7-2 victory over future MIAA opponent Nebraska-Omaha. Washburn improved to 7-2 with the win while UNO drops to 6-1.
Washburn won all five of their singles matches in straight sets with the lone setback came in a three-set loss at No. 3 singles.
The Lady Blues picked up wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to begin the match.
