EMPORIA, Kan. -- Washburn junior third baseman Tish Williams became the Lady Blues' all-time home run queen in a 6-3 win over Southwestern Oklahoma. Her 39th home run of her career was a solo shot in the third inning against the Bulldogs. Washburn (12-17) won three of five games at the ESU Inviational.

Williams' 39th home run moved her ahead of Brooke DeVader who wrapped up her Washburn career last season.

In the win over the Bulldogs, Washburn fell behind 3-0 before scoring the solo run on Williams record breaker in the third. Washburn added two more in the fifth inning on an RBI triple by Dani White followed by an RBI single by Ashley Podschun. Neither team would score again until the bottom of the seventh when Podschun's second home run of the season cleared the fence recording a three-run walkoff home run.

Samantha Farris (6-6) picked up the win striking out three.
