Scene Setter
The Washburn Lady Blues soccer team begins a busy week with three matches as they will host No. 19-ranked Rockhurst on Tuesday followed by a pair of conference encounters beginning with Missouri Western on Friday in Yager Stadium and then a road match at Northwest Missouri on Sunday. The Lady Blues are coming off a record-setting performance at Nebraska-Kearney after their 7-1 win over the Lopers on Sept. 30.

Story lines
• Washburn head coach Tim Collins is 2-3-1 against Rockhurst, 9-5-0 against Missouri Western and 11-3-3 against Northwest Missouri.
• Junior Caysie Beetley leads the Lady Blues with five goals on 31 shots and 19 shots on goal.
• Beetley has scored five of the 13 goals for Washburn this season.
• Seniors Tia Stovall and Leah Talley each have three goals tying for second on the Lady Blues so far this season. Senior Lindsey Lambert and freshman Carlee Seitz have also scored goals this season.
• Sophomore Tori Fuglister has played 746 minutes in goal allowing 16 goals with 48 saves and a 1.93 goal against average.
• Fuglister picked up her first shutout win in the victory over Emporia State.
• Sophomore Jenna Lack picked up the win over Nebraska-Kearney in the 7-1 victory.
• Washburn has outshot has been outshot this season 129 to 89.
Tia Stovall and Leah Talley each have five match-winning goals in their career.
• Senior Tia Stovall was a second team all-MIAA pick for the third season in a row.
• Senior Leah Talley was an honorable mention all-MIAA pick in 2011 and 2010 after earning second team all-MIAA honors as a freshman.

Last time out for the Lady Blues (09/30/2012)
KEARNEY, Neb. -- The Washburn Lady Blues had a record-setting performance in a 7-1 win over the Nebraska-Kearney Lopers in the first meeting between the two schools on Sunday in Kearney.
Washburn scored first in the meeting in the eighth minute when Caysie Beetley scored her fourth goal of the season when she scored unassisted from 15 yards out.
Leah Talley scored her second goal of the season 3:18 later when she scored on an assist from Beetley from the center of the box to put Washburn up 2-0.
Washburn added a third goal of the half when Beetley scored her second goal of the match and fifth of the season from 15-yards out on an assist from Talley.
Sixty-four seconds later Talley scored her third goal of the season and her second of the match when Beetley set her up on the left wing scoring from 2-yards out stretching the Lady Blues lead to 4-0.
Tia Stovall scored her second goal of the season at the 34:29 mark of the opening half unassisted when she scored passed the Loper goalkeeper as the Lady Blues took a 5-0 lead into the break.
The Lopers scored their lone goal of the match in the 47th minute when Missey Everson scored her second goal of the season on an assist from Ashtin Pawloski.
Stovall added her second goal of the match on a Talley assist inside the right wing of the box putting Washburn up 6-1.
Carlee Setiz wrapped up the scoring in the 67th minute on an assist from Bailey Wobig from 12-yards out. It was Seitz's first goal of her collegiate career and the first assist for Wobig.
Jenna Lack picked up her first win of the season in net for Washburn in her first action picking up five saves allowing the one UNK goal.
Washburn outshot the Lopers 13 to 12 and had a 10 to 6 advantage in shots on goals.   

About Rockhurst
• The Hawks are 8-0-1 this season and they were ranked No. 19 in the latest NSCAA top 25 coaches poll.
• Rockhurst topped Illinois-Springfield in its last match 2-1 in overtime.
• The Hawks have outshot their opponents 146 to 52 and have outscored their opponents 21 to 4.
• Taylor Skala leads the team with seven goals and Kasey Lierz has six assists and two goals on the season.
• Lucy Sullivan has a 0.43 goal against average  recording five shutouts.

Series history with Rockhurst
• Washburn trails the series 2-3-1.
• The Lady Blues are 1-2 against the Hawks in Topeka.
• Washburn lost last season in Kansas City 1-0 on Sept. 6.
• The Lady Blues won the last meeting in Topeka 1-0 on Sept. 30, 2009.

Last Meeting with the Hawks (Sept. 6, 2011)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Washburn Lady Blues were blanked for the third straight match to start the season as they fell 1-0 to Rockhurst.
Neither team was able to hit the back of the net in the opening half as the Hawks held a 7 to 1 advantage in shots. In the second half Rockhurst held a 7 to 2 lead in shots in the second half taking a 14 to 3 margin for the match.
It wasn't until the 64th minute when Rockhurst broke the deadlock as Katie Kujawa scored her first goal of the season on an assist from Kasey Lierz.
Rachel Hansen, Caysie Beetley and Brianna Ament each had shot attempts for the Lady Blues, who were left without a shot on goal in the match.
Mallorie Monhollon recorded four saves in net for the Lady Blues while facing 14 shots from Rockhurst.  

About Missouri Western
• The Griffons enter the match with a 3-6 record and they are 1-4 in MIAA play.
• The Griffons have lost their last three matches including a 3-1 loss to Northeastern State last time out on Sept. 30 in St. Joseph.
• Katie Kempf leads the team with four goals and KC Ramsell has three assists.
• The Griffons have been outscored 13 to 8 this season and outshot 157 to 78.

Series history with Missouri Western
• Washburn leads the all-time series 9-5 but the Griffons have won the last three match-ups.
• Washburn's last win in the series was a 1-0 win on Sept. 18, 2010 on the road.
• Washburn has outscored the Griffons 35 to 11 all-time and they are 5-2 against Missouri Western in Topeka with the Griffons winning the last two played in Yager Stadium.
