TOPEKA, Kan. -- The No. 38-ranked Washburn Ichabods picked up a win in play and doubles play but it wasn't enough as No. 24 Midwestern State topped the home team 7-2 at Kossover Tennis Center on Friday afternoon. The Ichabods will host No. 49 Nebraska-Kearney on Sunday returning to MIAA play.
The No. 3 doubles team of
Chance Joost and
Bobby Florence won their match 8-5 over Austin Crawford and Zack Santagate. Washburn's singles win came with Florence topping Franko Siljeg at No. 5 singles 2-6, 6-4, 6-4.
