LAWTON, Okla. -- The No. 31-ranked Washburn Ichabod men's tennis team picked up a huge win with a 6-3 win over No. 28-Ouachita Baptist in Lawton, Okla., on Thursday. Washburn will be back in action on March 8 when they will host Cameron.

The Ichabods (2-2), who were ranked No. 3 in the Central Region by the ITA led 2-1 after doubles play over the Tigers (2-2) who were ranked No. 2 in the latest ITA Central Regional rankings. Washburn's No. 2 doubles team of Thilo Schlenker and Marko Keulers topped Maciej Braciszewisc 9-7. The No. 3 team of Chance Joost and Jacob Long defeated Nathan Street and Andre Stefano 8-2.

In singles action, Arek Kozaczuk topped Victor Oliveira 6-1, 6-4 at No. 2 singles and Thilo Schlenker won at No. 3 sinlges 6-4, 4-6 taking the tiebreaker 8-6. At No. 4 singles, Marko Keuler won 7-6 (4), 6-2 and Chance Joost won at No. 5 singles over Andre Stefano 6-1, 5-7, 6-2.
