EMPORIA, Kan. -- Washburn Soccer defeated Emporia State, 1-0, behind a late goal from Morgan El-Attrache.  

The Ichabods improved to 5-7-5 overall and 4-4-2 in the MIAA, moving into the seventh spot in the MIAA standings with the win.

El-Attrache's goal was scored in the 75th minute putting Washburn up 1-0. Kailtin Minnich recorded six saves in net facing 20 shots overall recording the shutout.

Washburn wraps up the regular season on Sunday at 1 p.m. against Fort Hays State in Yager Stadium. Senior day festvities will also take place approximately 10 minutes prior to the start of the match as Sara Specht, Whittney Skinner and Bailey Wobig will all be honored prior to the start of the match.
