First serve . . . •   The Washburn Ichabod women's tennis team will wrap up the regular season hosting Lindenwood on Friday at the Washburn Tennis Complex starting at 2 p.m.
•   The Ichabods are 3-13 this season coming off a 6-3 loss at Emporia State on Wednesday.
•   The Ichabods need a win over Lindenwood, who are 2-5 in MIAA play, to have any chance of reaching the MIAA postseason tournament.
•   The Lions are 5-12 overall and 2-5 in conference play and still have matches left at Emporia State and at home against Northwest Missouri.
•   It will be the final home match for Ichabod senior
Casyn Buchman. She is the only senior on  either the women's or the men's tennis teams.
•   Buchman has a career singles record of 53-29 and a career doubles mark of 67-24. Her 67 doubles wins rank seventh all-time at Washburn and her .736 winning percentage is 12th all-time for the Ichabods.
 Drop shots . . . •   The Ichabods have gone 51-85 so far this season in three tournaments and the seven dual matches this season in singles play.Â

Jodie Blackim has 10 singles wins to pace the Ichabods. Â Â Â
Casyn Buchman has nine and
Gwen Shepler has eight.Â
•   As a team the Ichabods are 30-32 in doubles this year play going 9-5 in tournament action in the fall and 21-27 in dual matches this season.
•   In doubles the Ichabods this season,
Jodie Blackim and
Casyn Buchman lead the team with a 11-4 combined doubles record. Overall Blackim has 15 wins in doubles and Buchman has 13.
 Coaching . . . Former Ichabod tennis player
Lance Lysaught is in his first season as the Ichabod head coach. He started the Ottawa tennis program from scratch going 11-17 for the Braves. Overall he is 14-30 as a collegiate head coach and 3-13 in his first season at Washburn.
