TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Ichabod tennis team lost only one doubles match and rolled to an 8-1 win over Lindenwood on Friday at the Washburn Tennis Complex. The Ichabods will now have to wait to see if they will qualify for the MIAA Tournament.

Washburn's Casyn Buchman and Jodie Blackim topped Gloria Marras and Clara Piccamiglio 8-2 at No. 1 doubles and Maggie Plum and Gwen Shepler defeated Daria Ivanova and Mariona Pinol 8-6.

In singles play, the Ichabods swept the Lions as Buchman, Blackim, Maria Moral-Carretero, Plum all won in straight sets and Shepler and Ashlynn Sutton both won as the Lions retired their matches.
