Northwest would get off eight more shots before the end of the half none of which would find its way to the back of the net resulting in Washburn taking a 1-0 lead at the break.

The Bearcats continued to attack the Washburn defense in the second half attempting seven shots during the period. The Ichabods attempted five shots during the second period connecting on the first one by way of a Kelsi Smith shot to the back of the net off an assist from Lexi Montgomery inside the 68th minute.
