KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Ichabod women's tennis team lost no steam as it rolled to a 9-0 victory over William Jewell Wednesday afternoon.

After sweeping the competition in the Wheatstate Classic winning all flights Washburn picked up right where it left on winning all three doubles matches and allowing only three points by the Cardinals.

The pairing of Madeline Hill and Jacqueline Engelbrecht won its 8^th consecutive match to remain undefeated in an 8-1 decision. Logan Morrissey and MaKenna Gonzales picked up a 8-1 victory on court two while Madison Lysaught and Ally Burr blanked a pair of Cardinals 8-0.

The Ichabods never missed a step as they clinched all six singles matches in straight sets. Hill clinched her 8^th singles win of the season in straight sets 6-0, 6-0. Morrisey rolled to 6-2, 6-1 wins over Whitney Holloman and Engelbrecht downed Hannah Waine 6-0, 6-0. Gonzales and Lysaught each won their matches with identical score of 6-0 and 6-3 over Jade Moore and Meredith Houk. Ally Burr completed the sweep with victory in straight-sets over Maddy Cumean.

Up next, Washburn will host Truman State on Sept. 24 at noon before heading to Oklahoma City, Okla for ITA Central Regionals Oct. 1.
