OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. --- Washburn women's tennis dropped its second match of the season in a 6-3 decision to Oklahoma Baptist Saturday afternoon at the Will Rogers Tennis Center in Oklahoma City.

After picking up two out of three doubles points, Washburn was plagued by untimely dropped points in singles play as it dropped to 3-2 on the season.

Logan Morrissey and MaKenna Gonzales dropped the first point of the day in an 8-2 decision to OBU's Olivia Charvat and Madeline Boepple.

Ally Burr and Madison Lysaught teamed up for an 8-4 ousting of Alex Bowers and Alex Morales.

Madeline Hill and Jacqueline Engelbrecht teamed up for their 16^th doubles win of the season as they downed Rouxanne Van Rensberg and Kim Moosebacher in an 8-6 decision.

With a 2-1 lead the Ichabods headed into singles play. Hill dropped to 20-2 on the season with a 7-6, 6-3 loss to Van Rensberg.
Engelbrecht found herself on the wrong side of a 7-5, 6-2 loss to Olivia Charvat.

 Morrissey evened up the match at 3-3 with a 6-4, 6-4 win over OBU's Madeleine Boepple.

Gonzales was outlasted by Kim Moosebacher in a 6-2, 6-1 decision to give Oklahoma Baptist the lead for good as the Bison took the next match against Lysaught 6-2, 6-2.

Burr closed out the match for the Ichabods by picking up her second-straight singles win in a 6-2, 6-2 fashion over Alex Morales.

The Ichabods will take a three-week break before hitting the court on March 1 for its home opener against William Woods.
