Box Score 2 BENTONVILLE, Ark. -- The Washburn Ichabod softball team picked up a pair of wins on Saturday at the 8-State Classic in Bentonville, Ark. Washburn (5-10) will wrap up the event with games against Rogers State and Arkansas-Monticello on Sunday.
Game 1 - Washburn 3, William Jewell 1
After Washburn was down 1-0,
Dakota Sanders walked and then came around to score on a double from
Jordan Erickson. Washburn would go up 3-1 over the Cardinals on Sanders' 2 RBI single in the sixth.
The win went to
Ashley Wills who gave up two hits striking out two allowing no earned runs in two innings of work.

Game 2 - Washburn 4, East Central 3 (11 innings)
Megan Stegman's double in the bottom of the eighth inning gave the Ichabods a walk off win over the Tigers in a 4-3 win. Her doubled scored
Taylor Kemp who led off the inning with a single to right.
Washburn was down 3-0 when the Tigers scored three in the top of the second. Washburn came back with a solo run in the fourth on a fielder's choice RBI by Stegman scoring
Erica Harper.
Washburn scored a pair of unearned runs in the sixth inning capped by an RBI single to left by
Maddie Anderson tying the score at 3-3.
Ashley Wills picked up the win tossing the final two innings striking out 2.
