With a 2-1 lead in hand the Ichabods headed into singles play. Hill picked up a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles over Rivas to put Washburn up 3-1.
Burr defeated Jacquet in straight sets 6-1, 6-4 before Gonzales fell in two to Irene Nunez 6-1, 6-4..
Engelbrecht picked up a three set win over Teruel 6-4, 3-6, 6-3.
Souza would tie the match before veteran Ichabod
Logan Morrissey would pull through with a three set 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 win over Bearcat netter Aniek Kolen to clinch the match 5-4 for Washburn.
Washburn improved to 6-2 on the season and will head to Missouri Western to match up with the Griffons on March 12.
