ST. CHARLES, Mo. --- In spite of outhitting Lindenwood 9-5, Washburn baseball fell 5-2 on Friday at Lou Brock Sports Complex in St. Charles, Missouri.

Bowe Behymer went 2-for-4 as he registered a double and triple while
Gabe Franklin and
Logan Twehous also collected a pair of hits.
Tanner Triggs,
Josh Crosby and
Landon Hay filled out the balance with a hit apiece.

Washburn tied the evening affair at 1-1 in the third as Hay comfortably scored from third on Behymer's triple.

After Lindenwood pushed two across in the fifth, the Ichabods pulled a run back in the following frame thanks to an RBI double from Franklin to make it 3-2. The Lions then assumed a 5-2 advantage during the seventh with a two-run triple.
