TOPEKA, Kan. – The Ichabod women's track and field team recorded 10 top-five finishes along with two event winners in its first action inside the Washburn Indoor Athletic Facility. The Ichabods will be back in action next weekend hosting the All-Kansas Invite on Jan. 23.
Mandana Vouillemin won the 60m in a time of 7.92 while
Darian Hillebert was third at 8.17. Hillebert also picked up a second-place finish in the 200m. Vouillemin also finished fifth in the long jump with a mark of 5.15m (16-10.75).
Virgi Scardanzan – finished in a tie for second in the pole vault with a mark of 3.86m (12-08.00) which was an NCAA Provisional mark and
Rachael Mayberry was fourth with an NCAA Provisional mark of her own at 3.66m (12-00.00) to finish fourth.
Skyler Saunders won the high jump with a mark of 1.61 (5-03.25).
