HUTCHINSON, Kan. -- Washburn women's JV lost to Hutchinson CC 90-51 Wednesday night in the first night of back-to-back road games.  

No. 5 in the NJCAA rankings, the Blue Dragons offense hard to contain for the Ichabods, with Hutchinson leading 27-15 after the first quarter.  

In the second quarter the Blue Dragons scored 25 points as they drained a total of 14 3-pointers on the night.  

Washburn's offense picked up in the second half, scoring 15 and 17 points in each quarter respectively. In the final 20 minutes they were only outscored by six points before losing 90-51.  

Bailey Collar led the Ichabods offensively, finishing with 22 points on 7-9 shooting with three made 3-pointers. Raegan Wells finished in double figures with 11 points and six rebounds. Chloe Carter led Washburn with six assists and nine rebounds in the game.  

Hutchinson was led by Mya Williams who scored 20 points on 7-14 shooting in 18 minutes. Monae Duffy chipped in 15 points, and Journey Armstead had a double-double with 11 points and 10 assists.  

The Ichabods finished the game shooting 42.5% from the floor, while holding the Blue Dragons to just 40.7%, but lost the turnover and rebound battles to lose the game.  

Washburn will take on Highland Community College Thursday night, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
