TEMPE, Ariz. – Washburn men's tennis stays in the ITA National Team Rankings' top-20. Columbus State is the top-ranked men's team for the third straight week.
The Ichabods hold a 14-4 record and a 13-4 Division II record. Washburn lost to currently No. 18 Northwest Missouri State.
In the ITA National Singles Ranking, freshman
Tim Hammes moves up a couple of places to No. 25 as the highest-ranked Ichabod. Hammes leads Washburn with a 16-6 singles record this season. Senior
Raul-Alin Dicu fell to No. 52. Dicu holds a 10-8 singles record at No. 1 singles.
Sebastian Pjontek and
Matthew Earle stay put at No. 24 in the ITA National Doubles Rankings. The duo leads the Ichabods with a 12-7 doubles record.
