Braden Rose set a pair of program records en route to two All-American awards at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field championships this past weekend. He earned first team honors in the dicus after placing sixth by breaking his own school record with a throw of 54.05m. He received second team honors in the hammer throw finishing ninth overall with a mark of 61.61 (202-01) breaking his own school record by eight inches. Rose is now a three-time track and field All-American after finishing 10th in the dicus last year.

Freshman thrower
Shanice Hutson picked up two second team All-American awards in her first trip to the NCAA national championships. Hutson was 10th in the discus with a mark of 46.62m and the following day she was 12th in the shot put with a mark of 14.48m (47-06.25)
