Ezekiel Seamster set two sprint records and was part of a third on a relay squad in the first action of the season for the Ichabod track and field program at the Washburn Alumni Invitational last weekend en route to MIAA men's track co-athlete of the week honors.

Seamster and
Tre Richardson tied the school record in the 60m in the prelims with a time of 6.73 beating the previous mark by .07 and in the 200m, Seamster clocked a time of 21.00 beating the previous record of 21.28. In the 4x400m relay, he teamed with
Tyler Mooney,
Jacob Herr and
Jake Muller finishing in a time of 3:15.43 besting the previous school record of 3:20.61.

In the finals of the 60m, Seamster ran a time of 6.74 finishing fourth overall. He finished second in the 200m and the 4x400m relay team finished second. Seamster's time in the 200m was the fastest in the nation in the opening weekend and his 60m time is the second-fastest in the nation this year and the relay squad's time was the fifth-best in the nation this season.
