INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Washburn Ichabod track and field team put a bow on the 2024-25 indoor season, claiming two more All-American awards to give them a total of eight for the indoor slate. The Ichabods will open the 2025 season soon. Be sure to check out the outdoor schedule when it is announced.
Ransford Nti started the day by finishing eighth in the triple jump with a school-record performance of 15.16m (49-09.00) on his sixth and final jump of the day. He topped his own previous school-best mark of 15.06.(49-05.00) by four inches. He scored one team point earning first-team All-American honors.
In the pole vault,
Adam Wooldridge became the first Ichabod to clear the 17-foot mark as he finished in seventh to earn first-team All-American honors. He missed his first two jumps at 4.84m to open the meet, but cleared on his third attempt. He finished at 5.24m (17-02.25) setting a school record topping his previous school record of 5.08m (16-08.00) set two weeks at the MIAA Indoor Championships. Wooldridge scored two team points for the Ichabods.
Logan Schwab cleared a height of 4.84m (15-10.50) placing 16
th overall.
In the high jump,
Alex Hart, passed on the first three heights and missed her next three jumps.
Overall the Ichabod men finished 16
th overall scoring 12 team points. The Ichabod women's team finished 36th tallying four points.
