INDIANAPOLIS, In. -- No. 9 nationally ranked Washburn men's tennis was selected as the No. 7 seed in the NCAA National Championships bracket released by the NCAA on Wednesday afternoon. They will face the No. 10 seed and No. 13 nationally ranked Concordia University Irvine in the first round on May 20 at 11 a.m. EST. 

The Ichabods enter the tournament with a 20-3 overall record after capturing the MIAA/GAC Championship Tournament for a third straight season and advancing out of the central region bracket with a 4-0 win over Southern Arkansas. 

The Golden Eagles are also 20-3 on the season and enter the tournament on a seven-match winning streak. They defeated No. 5 Azusa Pacific 4-3 to win the PacWest Conference Tournament Championship and claimed a 4-1 win over Point Loma in the NCAA DII West Regional to earn a trip to Florida. 

All matches will take place at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Fla. The winner of the first round match will face the winner of No. 2 Barry and No. 15 Ouachita Baptist at 3 p.m. EST on Wednesday, May 21.
