KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Washburn Ichabod softball team had 10 student-athletes named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll as announced by the league office today. Washburn also had two MIAA Scholar Athletes.
Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll were
Erin Boles (biology),
Gracie Gallagher (communications),
Ellington Hogle (nursing),
Jaden LaBarge (finance),
Madi Moore (integrated studies),
Danielle Schlader (kinesiology),
Alexis Tanguma (integrated studies),
Kaylee Wagner (finance),
Sadie Walker (nursing) and
Mariah Wheeler (finance).
Jaden LaBarge and
Erin Boles were named to the MIAA Scholar Athlete listing after recording at least a 3.5 grade point average while earning postseason honors from the conference.
These academic awards do not include first-year freshmen or first-year transfers. The MIAA will release its Newcomer Academic Awards from the 2024-25 academic year in late June. To be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll, one must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 at the certifying member institution. The individual must also have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.
