TEMPE, Ariz. -- Coming off a National Championship appearance, Washburn men's tennis was ranked No. 6 in the first ITA Poll of the season released Wednesday morning by the organization after fall tournaments.
The Ichabods enter the year at No. 6 after finishing the 2024-25 season ranked No. 5 in the final ITA poll. Leading the way in the poll is Barry in the top spot. Last season's national champion Valdosta State sits at No. 2 with Flagler, West Florida and Lubbock Christian rounding out the top-five.
Around the conference just Harding is ranked in the top-25 coming in at No. 24 overall. Ouachita Baptist is receiving votes.
Washburn is set to begin the spring season with an exhibition match at home against Seward County CC beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24.
