Ichabod basketball team has 3 named to Bevo Francis Top 100 Watch List

TOPEKA, Kan. – The No. 1-ranked Washburn Ichabod basketball team had three players named to the Bevo Francis Top 100 Watch List announced today by the Small College Basketball for players from the NCAA Division II and III ranks as well as the NAIA, the USCAA and the NCCAA. Named to the watch list from the Ichabods were Jack Bachelor, Dillon Claussen and Jeremiah Jones.

Claussen leads the Ichabods in scoring at 16.3 ppg and in rebounds at 6.9 per contests. He is sixth in the nation in field goal percentage at 66.4 which also leads the MIAA.

Bachelor is scoring 15.3 ppg with a team-high 78 assists and 41 3-pointers this season. He ranks 22nd in the nation in total assists and he is fourth in assist to turnover ratio at 3.39 to 1.

Jones is scoring 9.9 ppg adding 3.8 rpg and he leads the nation in total steals with 53 and he is ranked third in steals per game at 3.31 per contest.

The Ichabods are in action Thursday night at Emporia State.

The Clarence "Bevo" Francis Award is presented annually to the player who has had the finest overall season within Small College Basketball. Considerations will be season statistics and individual achievements, awards, personal character and team achievements.  This is an incredibly prestigious award, as this award will only be given to one player within Small College Basketball per season.
