TOPEKA, Kan. – The Washburn Ichabod men's basketball had three players named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team announced on Tuesday by the organization.

Jack Bachelor (marketing), Brady Christiansen (marketing) and Sam Ungashick (accounting) were all named to the team. Bachelor is moving on to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. All three were honored last season as well.

The All-District and All-America teams recognize women's basketball athletes at each NCAA division based on their combined performance on the field and in the classroom. Freshmen are not eligible to be selected for the team while transfers in their first year are eligible. Players must carry a 3.50 cumulative grade point average while competing in 90 percent of a teams games during the season or starting in at least two-thirds of the total games played.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 15, 2026.
