KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Pavlos Parson is the fourth Ichabod men's player to be named the MIAA/GAC North Division Athlete of the Week presented by ClassicCourt. He earns the honor from the organization on Wednesday afternoon, the fifth for the men's squad overall this spring. 

Parson went 2-0 in the Ichabods' only match of the week, a 6-1 road win over Emporia State. He and Tommy Cecchetti won 6-2 at No. 2 doubles over Diago Calvo and Gwendal Mazuay to begin the match against the Hornets. In singles play he defeated Mostafa Elbasnaly in three sets, 3-6, 6-3 and 6-4 on the top court to clinch the match.  

The No. 9 ranked Ichabods return to action for senior day taking on No. 50 Northwest Missouri at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 18.
