INDIANAPOLIS, In. -- No. 11 nationally ranked Washburn men's tennis will head to the NCAA National Championships as the No. 7 seeded team in the Round o16 in the bracket released by the NCAA on Wednesday afternoon. They will face the No. 10 seed and No. 19 nationally ranked Ferris State in the round of 16. 

The Ichabods enter the tournament at 19-5 overall and on a 14-match winning streak after defeating No. 41 Ouachita Baptist 4-0 to advance out of the central region bracket for a fourth straight season. 

No. 19 Ferris State will enter the tournament with a 19-3 record overall with wins the last ten times out. They defeated Northwood 4-1 to advance into the national tournament.  

All matches at the NCAA National Championships will take place at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex in Surprise, Ariz. The Ichabod match is set for 12 p.m. pacific time on Wednesday, May 20.
