INDIANAPOLIS, In. -- After winning a fourth straight MIAA/GAC Tournament Championship the Washburn Ichabod men's tennis squad is the No. 1 seed once again in the Central Region and will host the winner of the match between the No. 4 seed Northwest Missouri State and No. 5 Ouachita Baptist.  

The Ichabods enter the tournament for a 20th time in program history and the 7th consecutive season, with six of those coming under head coach Kirby Ronning. Washburn is 18-5 on the season after going 5-0 inside the MIAA/GAC North.  

The match is set for 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12 at the Castillo Family Tennis Complex in Topeka. The first round meeting between Northwest Missouri and Ouachita Baptist will take place on Monday, May 11 and is scheduled for 3 p.m. Match times are subject to change.  

The winner of the three-team bracket will advance to the NCAA National Championships in Surprise, Arizona beginning May 19 at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex.
