KANSAS CITY, Mo. - United Soccer Coaches announced on Friday the College Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year. 

A total of 777 soccer teams (326 men, 451 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. Of that total, 175 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.

Washburn women's soccer earned a 3.58 team GPA for the 2025-26 academic year. 

The Ichabods will open the regular season on Thursday, August, 27 for a non-conference home game against No. 19 ranked Maryville.
