KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Washburn volleyball's Brynne Topolski was named the MIAA Offensive Player of the Week by the conference office on Monday afternoon after her record-setting week leading the Ichabod offense. 

The junior outside hitter tallied 43 kills (4.30 per set) across the three matches while hitting .563. She also added ten blocks and ten digs as No. 15 Washburn went 3-0 on the week and 2-0 in MIAA play.  

While hitting over .350 in all three matches and over .500 in two of the matches her big day came Saturday against Northeastern State where she hit .810 with 17 kills on 21 swings in a sweep of the RiverHawks. Her attack percentage was the best in Washburn program history and the best of any player in DII with at least 20 attempts in a match since the 2023-24 season.  

The Ichabods will hit the road for the first time in conference play as they take on Pittsburg State at 6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2 next time out.
