Ash needed just 119 pitches as he tossed an 11-inning complete game in the 3-2 win over PSU. The 11 innings are the most innings pitched in a single game in WU history. The sophomore from Topeka, scattered six hits and allowed just two runs, only one earned. Ash walked one and tied his career high with nine K's. He retired 18 of the final 22 batters of the game and allowed just two hits after the fifth inning. The win was Ash's sixth straight.
