Senior rightside hitter Marissa Cox hit .409 and averaged 4.00 kills a set as Washburn went 4-0 and swept all but one opponent last weekend at the South Central Classic. She also averaged 0.83 blocks and 0.42 service aces a set. She hit better than .425 in three of the matches and recorded double digit kills three times. She had 19 kills, eight digs and four aces against Southern Nazarene. She hit .435 with 11 kills and just one error against Southeastern Oklahoma.
