No. 1-ranked Madeline Hill opened the season with a 4-0 combined record in singles and doubles as the Ichabod tennis team went 1-1 to start the season. She teamed with Jacqueline Engelbrecht to top Larissa Karla and Julia Schepp from Drury 8-5 before rallying in singles action coming back from a 6-0 loss in the opening set to win 6-4, 7-6 on Friday night. On Saturday, she rolled to a 6-1, 6-0 win in singles play and again with Englebrecht picked up an 8-1 in at No. 1 singles.
