Omon joins senior offensive lineman Reid Kirby and senior linebacker Jared Erspamer as first-team selections. Kirby was a first-team pick in 2006.
Junior safety Sherard Reynolds of national finalist Valdosta led the voting at safety and is VSU's only first-team pick. The Blazers also are represented by second-team receiver sophomore Cedric Jones.
Abilene Christian (Texas) had the most selections of any school, with five, including first-team picks in junior running back Bernard Scott and senior offensive lineman Nathan Young.
