CANYON, Texas -- The Washburn Lady Blues season came to an end with a 1-0 loss to Truman in the second round of the NCAA Playoffs. Washburn wraps up the season tying the school record with wins in a season with 15 going 15-7-2 on the season.

Truman scored the first and only goal of the match when Megan Buri hit Brigitte Pohren 10:35 into the first half giving the Bulldogs all the offense needed for the win.

 Both teams had four shots in the first half and the Lady Blues were outshot the Bulldogs 5 to 3 in the second half.

Jessica Mainz had two shots, which were both on goal and Traci Nigg had three shots with one coming on goal. Ashley Klone had two saves in goal for the Lady Blues.
