KANEOHE, Hawaii - Manon Englehardt scored in the first half and then Danielle Ayala scored the game-winner with just more than a minute remaining to give the Lady Blues a 2-1 win at Hawaii Pacific Saturday. Washburn improved to 1-1 and will play two more matches on the road, this time in Denver, Colo., starting with Metro State Friday at 5 p.m.

Englehardt scored unassisted at 37:20 and then 1:52 into the second half HPU tied the match on a goal from Katrina Torres. Ayala got the game-winner at 88:54 on an assist from Ashley Taylor.

Hawaii Pacific put three shots on goal with WU keeper Jenny Persons stopping two of them. The Lady Blues had eight shots on goal and 15 total while HPU tallied just the three.
