DURANT, Okla. -- The Washburn Lady Blues softball team surrendered leads in both games of a doubleheader with Southeastern Oklahoma falling 6-4 in the opener and 5-4 in eight innings in the night cap. Washburn (1-10) will take part in the Southeastern Oklahoma Classic this weekend playing five games over the next three days.
In the opener, Washburn trailed 3-1 after four inning before scoring three in the top of the fifth to take a 4-3 lead.
Dani White led off the inning with a single.
Marissa Martin scored on a double by
Maggie West and
Ashley Podschun scored on a single by
Jessie Batres.
Lindsey Moore grounded out sending West to the plate. The Savages rallied for three runs in the fifth taking the 6-4 win as Washburn was held scoreless in the sixth and seventh innings going down in order both innings.
In the second game, Washburn came back from a 2-0 deficit to take 4-2 lead after six innings scoring all four runs in the top of the sixth. Doubles by

Ashley Podschun and West fueled the rally. However Southeastern knotted the score with two runs in the bottom of the seventh to tie the score at 5-5 and added the winner in the eighth.
