Three . . . Dot . . . Thoughts . . .
Will McNeill is the only MIAA player to have make at least 100 free throws and have no one has more than 150 (McNeill has 156 attempts) … Saturday's game will be another family battle with a pair of Chipmans wearing blue and white for the Ichabods and Guiots wearing purple and white for Southwest Baptist … however on SBU's bench both of Preston Guiot's parents will be coaching in head coach Jeff and mom Tina … Will McNeil is looking to become the first Ichabod to go over the 1,000-point mark since Travis Robbins completed the task during the 2004-05 season toward the end of his two-year Ichabod career finishing with 1,050 … the last Ichabod to reach 1,000 points in their third year was Ryan Murphy during his junior season of 2001-02 en route to 1,654 career points …
Will McNeill's 16 free throws were the most by an Ichabod since
Logan Stutz hit 15 against Missouri Southern in the NCAA regional's last season … McNeill's 18 attempts were the most since Stutz had 24 in the same game … McNeill's 35 points against Central Missouri were the most since Travis Robbins scored 34 on Feb. 10, 2005 at Southwest Baptist in a 90-80 win.
