TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Washburn Lady Blues fell in the first game with Truman and the second game has been postponed until Sunday with the second game of Friday's doubleheader to start at noon. In addition, Washburn's twinbill with Lindenwood on Saturday is now scheduled for 2 p.m. to allow the field more time to dry out.

In Friday's game with the Bulldogs scored four in the first, four in the second and six in the third jumping out to a 14-0 lead. Washburn scored one run in the bottom of the fourth on a RBI single by Marina Quimby scoring Shelby Erickson. Haylee Marsteller was 2 for 2 for the Lady Blues in the game.

Washburn's lone senior Alex Zordel will be honored between games on Saturday as scheduled.
