The Ichabods will begin a stretch of three games in a week Monday when they host Southwestern (Kan.) at 5:30 p.m. at Schendel Court in Lee Arena.
The Ichabods haven't played since suffering their first loss, 66-62 December 6 to Missouri Southern.
Honor Duvall had her first career double-double in that game with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
The Ichabods are 11th in this week's national poll. They fell four spots from seventh after losing to MSSU. The Lions earned their first ranking and are 18th. Four MIAA teams are ranked.
The Ichabods lead the series with SC 12-3 and have won 11 straight. The two have met in Topeka every year since 2006-07.
Taylor Ignoto has scored in double figures in all eight games this year. She leads the team scoring 15.0 points a game. She was named MIAA player of the week two weeks ago after averaging 20.5 points a game and shooting 72 percent from the field at Newman and Oklahoma Christian.
Casyn Buchman is averaging 13.8 points and 5.3 rebounds a game.
Dana Channel leads the team with 6.4 rebounds a game.
Honor Duvall is scoring 12.3 points a game and getting 6.1 rebounds.
Erika Lane has scored in double figures in three straight games off the bench and she's averaging 10.0 a game. She led the team last week with 17 points against MSSU.
The Bods entered the week second in the nation with a +17.8 rebounding margin, eighth holding opponents to .320 shooting and 12th holding opponents to just 54.4 points a game.
Ron McHenry is in his 15th season as coach. He has gone 365-83 since 2000 and has won eight MIAA titles with 12 NCAA tournament appearances. He coached the team to the 2004-05 national championship.
Non-conference game Monday with Southwestern opens busy weekWashburn's final week before the winter break will begin Monday at 5:30 p.m. against Southwestern (Kan.) at Schendel Court in Lee Arena. The 11th-ranked Ichabods will then play two MIAA road games later this week before starting a 10-day break.

Honor Duvall had her first career double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. It was also the team's first double-double this year.
Erika Lane led the Bods with 17 points as she shot 7 of 9 off the bench and made 3 of 4 3-pointers.
The Moundbuilders are 5-5 overall and will play at Bethany on Saturday before coming to Topeka. They will count their game with Washburn as an exhibition. They lost a similar exhibition last month to Emporia State, 91-40.
The Ichabods lead the series against the Lady Builders 12-3 and they have won 11 straight. This is the ninth straight year the two have met in Topeka.
Ichabods near the top in several national and MIAA defensive categoriesThe Ichabods entered the week of the December 8 at or near the top in several MIAA and NCAA defensive categories. They were 12th in the nation and third in the MIAA in scoring defense allowing 54.4 points a game. Washburn was second in the country and first in the MIAA with a +17.8 rebounding margin. The Bods were eighth in the nation and second in the league allowing opponents to shoot just .320 from the field.
Casyn Buchman was first in the MIAA and 14th in the nation shooting .933 from the free throw line.
Honor Duvall is 21st in the country and third in the conference shooting .595 from the field.
Taylor Ignoto is eighth in the conference scoring 15.0 points a game.
Junior achievementThe seven juniors on the 2013-14 team accounted for 81 percent of Washburn's scoring and 79 percent of Washburn's individual rebounding. Six of those seven juniors are back this year as seniors.
All four of Washburn's double-figure scorers from last year came from the group, as did the top three rebounders. At least one junior led the team in scoring every game and in rebounding in all but two games.
Coaches pick Bods third in MIAA preseason poll; WU earns three first-place votesThe Ichabods earned three first-place votes and were picked to finish third overall in the MIAA preseason coaches poll released October 22.
Washburn had 142 points in the poll while No. 2 Pittsburg State earned 153 points and five of the 14 first-place votes. Emporia State earned 160 points and five first-place votes and was picked to win the conference. Fort Hays State was picked fourth with the final first-place vote and defending champion Central Missouri was picked fifth.
Don't forget - Season highlights
Washburn's 93-35 win Nov. 16 against PR-Rio Piedras was the school's second largest against an NCAA school. The 62 rebounds was the largest against an NCAA school.
WU outscored Benedictine 48-4 in the paint on Nov. 18.
The Ichabods trailed nearly the entire second half Nov. 22 against Drury but
Casyn Buchman's free throw in the final seconds sent the game to overtime. She then scored 10 points in the overtime to help WU knock off then-No. 3 Drury, 87-79. She had a career-high 28 points.
Washburn was unranked in the USA Today Sports preseason poll but earned a No. 18 ranking in the first regular season poll of the year.
Taylor Ignoto averaged 20.5 points a game in road games Nov. 25 and 29 to help her earn MIAA player of the week. She shot 72 percent from the field.
Up next for WashburnThe Ichabods will play their first MIAA road games this weekend when they travel to Lincoln Thursday at 5:30 p.m. and then Lindenwood Saturday at 1 p.m. Washburn will then take 10 days off for the winter break before hosting Saint Mary (Kan.) on New Year's Eve in the final non-conference game this year.
