TOPEKA, Kan. -- Washburn Ichabod head coach
Bob Chipman has announced that Prince Samuels, a 6-3, 185-pound guard from Fort Scott Community College and Cameron Wiggins, a 6-2, 170-pound guard from Leavenworth, Kan., have signed to play for the Ichabods this fall. The duo joins Kevin House (5-10/165/Guard/Oklahoma City, Okla./Fort Scott Community College); David Salach (6-6/190/Overland Park, Kan./Blue Valley Northwest HS); Brady Skeens (6-7/195/Lenexa, Kan./Shawnee Mission Northwest HS); and Heath Tucker (6-3/195/Holcomb, Kan/Holcomb HS) who have already signed to play for Washburn this coming season.
"Prince is a big-time scorer," Chipman said. "He is such an athletic player and he's so explosive and can score by driving or with his outside shooting ability. Cameron is one of the top players in the state of Kansas coming out of high school and he is a tremendous shooter from outside with unlimited range from behind the 3-point line."

After averaging 11.5 points per game as a freshman he lifted his scoring average to 15.8 points per game as a sophomore hitting 50 percent of his shots during the year. He also averaged 6.3 rebounds per game as a sophomore and finished with 321 career rebounds planing him fourth on the Greyhound career chart. He was a first team all-Jayhawk Conference and a second team all-region selection helping the Greyhounds to a conference and a regional title as a sophomore. He scored 31 points in the first round of the NJCAA national tournament. He played his prep ball at Body of Christ Academy in Raleigh, N.C. He was a junior college teammate of Kevin House at Fort Scott who signed earlier with the Ichabods.
Cameron Wiggins • 6-2 • 170 • Guard • Leavenworth, Kan. • Leavenworth High SchoolWas named second team 5A all-state by the Topeka Capital Journal and the Wichita Eagle after leading the Pioneers in points, assists, free throw percentage and steals hitting 40 percent of his three point attempts en route to team MVP honors. He averaged 23 points per game scoring a career-high 44 against Shawnee Mission North while averaging four assists per game. He was selected second team all-league adding all-metro honors. He also plays tennis and is the younger brother of current Ichabod
