The Ichabods (15-7, 7-7 MIAA) end the regular season with four of five at home. They start that stretch Thur. at 5:30 p.m. against Central Oklahoma and then host Northeastern State Sat. at 5 p.m.
The Bods snapped their only two-game skid of the year with an 84-67 win Saturday at Nebraska-Kearney. UCO (14-9, 7-7 MIAA) and NSU (9-11, 5-8 MIAA) have both lost six of their last seven.
The Bods beat the Bronchos 55-50 earlier this year before falling 58-54 at Northeastern State.
The Ichabods lead the all-time series against UCO 8-2 but trail 3-2 against NSU.
Casyn Buchman moved into the top 10 in career 3-pointers at Washburn with 108 to tie Jennifer Harris (2004-06) for 10th. Two more will move her to ninth.
The Ichabods are 7-0 this year in midweek games. They are 6-6 on Saturdays.
Washburn is 10-0 when scoring at least 70 points and 5-7 when scoring less than 70.
The Bods were third in the last NCAA report and are second in the MIAA with a +11.6 rebounding margin. They have out-rebounded opponents in 19 of their 22 games.
The Bods have kept opponents to under 40% shooting 16 times and under 30% six times.
Casyn Buchman leads the MIAA shooting .868 (59 of 68) from the free throw line. She's 35 of 40 (.875) in MIAA games.
Taylor Ignoto has reached double figures in 17 of her 21 games. She's first on the team and 11th in the MIAA with 14.0 points a game.
Ron McHenry is in his 15th season as coach. He has gone 373-89 since 2000 and has won eight MIAA titles with 12 NCAA tournament appearances. He coached the team to the 2004-05 national championship.
Ichabods begin home-heavy final stretch with two at Lee Arena this weekendThe Ichabods play four of the final five regular season games at home and they begin that stretch Thursday at 5:30 p.m. when they host Central Oklahoma at Schendel Court in Lee Arena. They'll wrap up the week Saturday at 5 p.m. hosting Northeastern State.

Both of Washburn's opponents enter the week losers of six of their last seven. The Bods will be going for a season sweep over UCO as they beat the Bronchos 55-50 earlier this year. Central Oklahoma is 14-9 overall and tied for seventh in the MIAA with Washburn at 7-7. The RiverHawks beat Washburn earlier this year, their only win in their last seven, and they play against Emporia State Thursday before coming to Washburn. They're 9-11 overall and ninth in the league at 5-8.
Taylor Ignoto scored 25 points Saturday in Washburn's 84-67 win at Nebraska-Kearney and she leads the team with 14.0 points a game.

The Ichabods are 8-2 against Central Oklahoma and 2-3 against NSU. Both opponents joined the MIAA in 2012-13.

Casyn Buchman is tied for 10th in school career history with 108 3-pointers and she needs two more to move to ninth. She's sixth with an .803 free throw percentage and 18th with 257 career assists. Buchman is 28th with 931 career points. She is looking to become the 23rd Ichabod to score 1,000 career points.
Buchman's .868 free throw percentage this year would rank second in school single-season history but she is six makes shy of the minimum. She's 59 of 68 from the line this year and needs 65 makes to enter the record book. She's .875 from the line in MIAA games this year as she made her first 24 attempts. Last year she had a streak of 32 straight makes from the line.
Strong defense key to Bod victoriesJust six opponents have shot above 40 percent against the Ichabods this year including three of the seven teams that beat Washburn this year.
The Bods are 12-4 when keeping their opponents to under 40 percent shooting and their 3-3 when their opponent shoots above 40 percent.
Washburn is holding opponents to .332 shooting in games won and .409 shooting in the five losses. The Bods have kept six of their opponents to under 30 percent shooting. Benedictine shot a season-low .170 against Washburn while Northwest Missouri has the season high of 50 percent shooting in a Washburn win January 10.

Washburn was picked third in the MIAA preseason coaches poll. The Bods earned three first-place votes. Emporia State was picked first and Pittsburg State was second.
Washburn's 93-35 win Nov. 16 against PR-Rio Piedras was the school's second largest against an NCAA school. The 62 rebounds was the largest against an NCAA school.
WU outscored Benedictine 48-4 in the paint on Nov. 18.
Casyn Buchman's free throw in the final seconds Nov. 22 against No. 3 Drury sent the game to overtime. She scored 10 points in overtime to help WU beat No. 3 Drury, 87-79. She had a career-high 28 points.
Taylor Ignoto averaged 20.5 points and shot 72 percent Nov. 25-29 to earn MIAA player of the week.
Washburn's 40 points scored at Pittsburg State Jan. 17 was the school's lowest output since scoring 40 in 1999-00.
The seven juniors on the 2013-14 team had 81 percent of Washburn's scoring and 79 percent of the individual rebounding. Six of those seven juniors are back this year as seniors. A junior led the team in scoring every game last year and in rebounding in all but two games.
Up next for WashburnThe Ichabods play their final three games against three top 10 nationally-ranked teams and the top three teams in the MIAA standings. The Bods will play their final road game of the regular season February 18 at Fort Hays State. Washburn fell 62-58 on January 31 to then-No. 6 Fort Hays State. The Tigers are now ranked third.
Washburn hosts No. 6 Emporia State February 21 and then wraps up the regular season February 28 against No. 10 Pittsburg State.
